Roy Hodgson is happy to lead the England’s team at the Euro 2016

The boss from the Three Lions has managed to have on his side 8 consecutive wins for the qualifying series and he is happy with the current situation. Roy Hodgson is now happy to be in charge of the England’s team now that they are facing the Euro 2016. The contract for Hodgson is going to be up right after the next summer tournament from France.

There England has a 100% record for the qualifying campaign.

The FA has made it clear that Hodgson is not going to be affected by the new contract after the Euro 2016 championship. This is happening as they plan to avoid repeating the problems that occurred with the former boss Fabio Capello.

He signed a lucrative new contract before the 2010 World Cup and that’s where England was defeated at the last 16 stage when they played against Germany and he left his job in February 2012.

The FA chief Glenn was speaking at the Soccerex in Manchester and said that Roy was feeling very comfortable with the situation and that he is familiar with the fact that it is a results game. This way they wanted to avoid the situation that happened with Fabio Capello right before the World Cup. The team and Roy is going to receive full support in order to become successful. They also claimed that they are planning to have a big ambition for the World Cup in 2022, where they are planning to be the winners.
