Welcome To Stamford Bridge – Chelsea To ANNOUNCE Griezmann Signing On January 1

I am going over there

Chelsea’s start to the season in the English Premier League, Champions League, and the Capital One Cup, has been nothing short of disappointing and way below expectations. Most would say that they are in for a relegation fight this season but they seem to have gotten themselves back to normal following their 1-0 win over Norwich City after the international break. .

Club manager Jose Mourinho and club owner Roman Abramovich’s main aims have been to try and sign players that can help them launch a viable top four challenge this term in a bid to save their season.

According to reports from the Daily Express, The Blues are ready to launch an audacious €56m bid for Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann, who has been outstanding since joining the La Liga giants from Real Sociedad and Roman Abramovich is set to sanction the move for one of Europe’s most sought after player’s.

The Frenchman is widely hailed as one of the world’s best attacking midfielders and Chelsea are now looking to bring him in to bolster their already fading attack.

With Chelsea strikers, Diego Costa, Radamel Falaco and Loic Remy failing to find the back of the net regularly a move for the French Superstar remains a high possibility.

It remains to be seen how much Abramovich can endure till he starts making these negotiations himself and luring in new players.

Chelsea won their last game in the premier league against Norwich City, the Blues played some beautiful attacking football with Diego Costa grabbing the only goal of the game with a beautifully placed shot following a well planned freekick.
