Mathieu Debuchy Set To Leave Arsenal This Winter

 As a number of players are on their way in to the club (Arsenal) so also a number of players are on their way out, one of the names who might be moving on from Arsenal is French full back Mathieu Debuchy.

According to the Daily Mail, Ligue one side Lyon are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s out of favor full back Mathieu Debuchy. However the Arseblog, reports that the 30 year old French international is on the verge of penning a deal with premier league side West Brom.

The report state, that news of agreeing to a deal come, after personal terms between Mathieu Debuchy and the club (West Brom) have been agreed.

The 30 year old French international, joined Arsenal in 2014 from Newcastle. Debuchy has endured a torrid time since joining the gunners, his progress at Arsenal has been hampered by injuries, poor form and the emergence of Spanish youngster Hector Bellarin. Bellarin’s fantastic form hasn’t helped matters for the French man as he (Debuchy) has lost his place to the Spaniard.

With the Euro’s fats approaching Mathieu Debuchy knows that his chances at representing France at the Tournament are getting slimmer, and knows that only more game time will guarantee him a place in the French national team squad at the tournament. But with Hector Bellarin improving day in day out Debuchy would most likely have to look elsewhere for his desired playing time and West Brom might be his destination.
