Dutchman Hiddink was appointed as the club’s interim manager in what was his second spell at the club after the Premier League champions parted ways with Josè Mourinho on the 17th of December. He left the team in a disappointing 16th spot with just 15 points from 16 league games.
Experienced man Juande Ramos, 61, would be an unlikely appointment in comparison to more popular candidates such as Pep Guardiola, Maximiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone. He had a disappointing spell with fellow London club Tottenham between 2007 and 2008 either side of successful stints at Spanish sides Sevilla and Real Madrid.
This news if true and it actually happens, it will be a very unpopular choice among Chelsea fans. In fact, many Chelsea fans will prefer Hiddink to continue as the club’s manager instead of bringing in Ramos who to be fair he is not Chelsea’s standard.
Pep Guardiola is definitely the most preferred choice but it appears he may be off to Manchester City or Manchester United. Diego Simeone is also another choice, one that the Blue faithfuls will be happy with.
