Chelsea have had their woes this season blamed on a number of circumstances and reasons but a major part of the Blues fans believe that the season might have turned out better if they had been able to sign some of their major transfer targets.
Everton’s defender John Stones would have been able to save the squad if they had gotten him but Chelsea messed up the transfer and Everton were not ready to let go of the player and the Blues had to make a few panic buys as they had to quickly launch bids for easier targets like Papy Djilobodji who arrived without hassles.
However, even with the troubles the Blues have had defensively which leaves them 15th on the English Premier League table with 23 goals conceded in just 13 matches as against their 32 goals conceded in 38 matches last season when they went on to win the league, the Blues have still not been able to trust Djilobodji at the heart of defence and have not featured him in the Premier league at all.
This lack of playing time has reportedly frustrated the player who has been clamoring for a move away in the January transfer window, especially with clubs like Besiktas claiming they want the player desperately.
It has been reported by the Metro Chelsea have accepted a bid for the player and that the defender himself has already agreed on personal terms with the Turkish giants Besiktas and will definitely be leaving the Stamford Bridge when the transfer window re-opens in January.
This is the best move for the player as he runs the risk of stagnancy if he continues to hope for playing time at Stamford Bridge.
