Nigerian international Odion Ighalo has been a real goal machine for Watford this season in the English Premier league as he has scored 14 goals in 20 appearances for the club and this has raised interest from top clubs in the league for him.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all shown interest in the striker and recent reports are now claiming that Chelsea have also joined these interested clubs.
However, apart from the fact that Watford might not be willing to sell such a fantastic striker, especially with him being in such a superb form, Ighalo himself has said that he does not want to leave the Hornets yet unless he is going to his dream club Manchester United.
Although, the 26-year-old striker has just signed a five-year contract with Watford in September, the club knows that he might be tempted away soon enough with interests also coming from Atletico Madrid and AS Roma.
He however only wants a mive to Manchester United who don’t seem to be interested in his services at the moment.
He told the Sun that, “there has been speculation from Spain and Italy but I’ve played there and now want to play in England.”
“I don’t think I will be moving but I’m not sure I’d say no if United called. They were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV. They were my idols and playing at Old Trafford has always been a dream.”
Ighalo might have to settle for another dream club after all if United don’t come calling and his likely destination could be Stamford Bridge as Chelsea don’t seem to want him now but would prefer a summer move for the player.
