Reports have emerged according to the Daily Mail that France international and Arsenal right back Mathieu Debuchy could be on his way to Ligue One outfit Lyon after the club confirmed staunch interest in the player.
The 30-year-old joined Arsenal as a replacement for Sagna in the summer of 2014 and was an instant favourite for Arsene Wenger. He picked up a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for three months.
In his absence, Hector Bellerin was used in the right back position and the youngster shocking became favorite for the position and threw Debuchy in second place in the right back selection perking order. The France international is now unhappy as he as now chance of starring regularly for Arsenal.
The coach of France national team Didier Deschamp has told Debuchy that he might not make the Les Blue team for the Euro 2016 Championship and the right back is wary of his chance.
However, it is widely reported that Debuchy could complete a deal with West Brom in this week as he looks to continue in the Premier league.
Wenger might consider recalling Jenkinson from loan if Debuchy completes the move.
