Louis Van Gaal Sacked, Mourinho To Take Over

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to take over from Louis Van Gaal as Manchester United manager.

The 52 year old was sacked by Chelsea last week Thursday amidst rumors of player revolt, but now he looks set to be the next manager at old Trafford. He will replace Louis Van Gaal should the Manchester United board dismiss the Dutch tactician or he (Van Gaal) leaves at the end of his contract with the club (Manchester United).

Mourinho having seen his side win a premier league and league cup double last season failed to inspire his team this season. His final weeks as Chelsea boss were horrible having fallen out with his players over the demotion and sacking of Eva Carneiro, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa all reported to have protested the issue. The whole escapade led to dressing room unrest and the team kept declining to the point of Mourinho’s sacking.

Manchester United on the other hand have endured a torrid time under Louis Van Gaal this season. The team has struggled to score goals this season with many toothless displays in front of goal. They (Manchester United) have failed to win any of their last six games in all competitions, securing back to back loses in the past 2 weeks against Bournemouth and Norwich City. Reports indicate the fans are beginning to call for Van Gaals dismissal.

According to the sun, United might soon get to the point that they have to relieve Van Gaal of his duties as Jose Mourinho has agreed to replace him at the club (Manchester United).

Louis Van Gaal has reportedly been given the next two fixtures to improve results or lose his job.

United travel to stoke this weekend.
