Debuchy switched Newcastle for Arsenal in the summer of 2014 and became an instant replacement for the out-gone Sagna. He was starring regularly for the Gunners until he picked a Hamstring injury and lost his place to the Hector Bellerin.
Sadly too for him, he has been told by the coach of the Les Blue Didier Deschamp that his place in the national team is uncertain as only players that play regularly for their clubs will be considered.
Debuchy has revealed that he is unhappy.
‘I am putting up with it and trying to stay mentally strong, but it’s true that sometimes it’s more difficult than at other times, when in your mind things are complicated.
Debuchy has been left out of the fray in Arsenal’s major games this season and the form of Bellerin means he has lost his place in the team.
There are reports linking him with a loan move to Aston Villa and West Brom but he has reportedly declined those deals.
Meanwhile, Arsenal moved to the zenith of the Premier League log yesterday and they will be hoping that Leicester slips so that they can be atop.
