Flamini Starts, No Ramsey – 4-3-2-1 Arsenal likely line up vs Dynamo Zagreb

Part of Arsenal undoing in recent seasons is their failure to do the needful at the inception of competitions and they eventually find themselves scrambling for wins when they should have qualified.

Arsenal are currently sitting in third position on their Champions League standing and they will have to win their two matches and depend on Bayern Munich to win their opponents too for them to qualify.

Sadly too, Arsene Wenger’s men have been diminished by injuries with seven players currently sidelined with various degrees of injuries. The latest is a long term injury to Coquelin who will be out for at least three months.

With the match dubbed as a must win for Arsenal, this is how we expect Arsenal to line up with their thin squad.

Petr Cech has been outstanding for Arsenal this term but sometimes the team makes him look less. He will have to be at his game today and is sure dependable.

The defence of Arsenal is not really affect by injuries. Bar Mertesacker who was dismal, the same players that played against West Brom will be retained. Gabriel is tipped to come in for the aforementioned German.

With Coquelin and Arteta out, the only option for  Wenger is Flamini. Although Ramsey has started full training but he is a bit short of games. Flamini will be anchored by Cazorla who blew a penalty a way last weekend. The most creative hub for the Gunners will be the assist king Ozil. We hope Giroud makes the most of his creativity.

This is where Wenger will have a bit of selection headache. Sanchez will be retained on the right flank while Campbell on the left. Wenger is without option on that front. Giroud will be given the nod but the attacker of Arsenal will have to be as clinical as they can to secure the three points at stake.
