Arsene Wenger has recalled the loan deal of German under-21 star Serge Gnabry from West Bromwich Albion after the youngster only got 12 minutes of playing time in the premier league since completing the loan move to the Hawthorns.
The youngster is now officially on his way back to the Emirates stadium but they are still claims that he may may well be on his way out again in this transfer window. According to reports Championship sides, Brighton and Hoves Albion are keen on taking the player (Gnabry) on loan for the remainder of the season.
Brighton currently have Manchester United’s youngster James Wilson in their ranks, intend to move swiftly for Gnabry as they bid to bolster their chances of gaining promotion from the championship. The young Arsenal man will gain the desired playing time and his chances of becoming a first team regular at Arsenal in the future will improve greatly
Wenger knows a loan deal is the best option at the moment for the 20 year old German born Ivorian winger, as he will not be able to gain enough playing time considering the number of talents Arsenal have on their disposal.
Gnabry who was born of a German mother and Ivorian father, was a talented sprinter but ultimately choose football over athletics. He joined Arsenal youth system in 2011. And was loaned out to West Brom in the summer of 2015. He has managed just 1 league appearance to date since completing the loan move to West Bromwich Albion as a substitute playing just 12 minutes of Premier league football.
