According the Daily Star, Spanish giants Real Madrid are preparing a massive bid for Manchester United goal keeper David De Gea as they attempt to lure the Spanish short stopper to the Santiago Bernabue.
The former Atletico Madrid man signed a new 4 year contract early this season after a lengthy transfer saga as Real Madrid and Manchester United went head-on over David De Gea United initially refused to sell but eventually they succumbed only for the transfer to fall apart in deadline day, De Gea eventually committed his future to Manchester United and signed a 4 year deal.
But it appears Real Madrid haven’t given up on the short stopper (David De Gea) as we have confirmed that they (Madrid) will attempt to sign their long term target again this January. And reportedly are preparing a hefty fee for the Spaniard.
David De Gea has a £36 million release clause built into his new contract which will pose no troubles for the 2013 champion’s league winners and they even prepared to add a few million to fee in an attempt to sweeten the deal for Manchester United.
David has been an exceptional goalkeeper probably one of the best in modern times. He won United’s player of the season award back to back, wining it in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons respectively.
Having been a long term target for the Spanish giants we would see how the transfer window turns out in his case and whether he will still be a Manchester United player in February 2016.
