Gnabry joined Arsenal as a minor in 2011 after he had agreed a deal in 2010 from his native club VfB Stuttgart. He gradually ascended the grades of Arsenal academy until he had a breakthrough to the senior team in 2013-14 season.
The prospect of playing regularly for Arsenal became vague last season when he was sidelined in the entire course of the season with injury. He recovered fully last summer and was sent on loan to the Hawthorns. He made his debut against for West Brom in their defeat against Chelsea. He played for only 12 minutes in that match.
Arsenal are unhappy with how he was treated at West Brom and decided to call him back to the Emirates since the player wasn’t developing adequately. He is now back in the fold at the Emirates but there also reports now linking him with another loan move away from the club.
Championship sides, Hoves Albion and Brighton are reportedly on his case and they keen on granting him another six months loan deal. The Seagull’s have been doing very well in the Championship and they want to bolster their squad as they look to secure a place in the Premier League next season.
There is no telling if Wenger will allow him leave but he may not be able to get a place in the first team of Arsenal. The Gunners already boast of quality players on the wing.
