The Mersey side club will travel to Exeter City for the FA cup Third round clash next week and Ryan Kent is hoping he can impress Jurgen Klopp by earning a place in the squad. The 19 year old was originally expected to finish his loan on January 16th but it appears he will return early to contend for a place in the squad against the league two opposition.
Klopp’s side have struggled with injuries in many area’s especially in midfield as both Jordan Henderson and James Milner are doubts for the trip to Devon. Despite the fact that 19 year old Kent has already played for League one this term, there is a chance he (Kent) could play a part in the FA cup clash with Exeter City.
Kent who was on loan at Coventry had this to say after his final game with them; “there a number of injuries and a lot of games so that’s why I’ve been recalled. Hopefully I can make my debut against Exeter in the FA cup but I’ll have to see what happens.”
The 19 year old midfielder has made 17 appearances for Coventry in League one this season. He has great pace and continuously makes surging runs during games.
The Oldham-born wide midfielder has scored just one League one goal this season, he has been called up for international duty. We will see his performance if he features for Liverpool against Exeter City, but As he (Kent) puts it “we have to wait and see what happens.”
