The Costa Rican had a relatively poor start to a season, the 23-year-old was loaned to several clubs including Villareal last season but he returned to Arsenal this term.
After given a chance in the Capital One cup game against Sheffield Wednesday, Campbell failed to impress but he repaid Wenger’s faith in him with a superb goal against Swansea last weekend and he was subsequently starred in the Champions League.
His agent Batica revealed the player’s desire to remain at Arsenal and he said:
“He was very happy after scoring his first Premier League goal,” Batica told The Metro.
“He just wants to be successful and win trophies for Arsenal. That’s all he is focused on.”

After signing Petr Cech from Chelsea last season, the Gunners are going back in January to Stamford Bridge with a bid for the Blues youngster Charly Musonda, as per Daily Star.
The 19-year-old is currently regarded as one of the most promising youngsters within the rank of Chelsea but he is in the want of a move because of inadequate playing time.
He is rated at £10 million and it is understood that Monaco are also waiting on the wings for the player’s signature.
