Juvetus Director General, Giuseppe Marotta has announced that on-loan Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado would be happy to make his transfer to Juventus permanent after a fine start on loan in Turin which has seen the winger feature regularly for the Serie A giants and impress on a constant basis in the Italian League.
The Colombian international was purchased by Chelsea in the January transfer window of 2015 but had to endure a difficult time at Stamford Bridge since he completed the move from Fiorentina.
He was then sent on loan back to the Serie A with Juventus in the summer transfer window and quickly re-established himself as a fantastic player at the Serie A, put his career back on track and made himself an instant star at Turin.
Juventus have since been in contact with Chelsea about making his contract permanent and Marotta said in a statement released on the Sky Sports website that, “He’s expressed his happiness at being here with us, and [his happiness to] continue here in future.”
“We’ll look at things with Chelsea at the appropriate time, but it’s very likely that there will be a good conclusion.”
Cuadrado will hope this deal is completed soon and he is sure of where his career is headed.
