Having being linked heavily to Chelsea late last year as regards a January transfer, Brazil international winger, Alex Teixeira could finally smile soon as the deal is about to signed and sealed as Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is ready to launch the massive bid needed to lure the forward away from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 25-year old has been the subject of a €40 million deal since the beginning of last December and with the transfer window now opened, the deal could be sealed as most of the parties involved have agreed to the deal. The Brazilian has netted 22 league goals in just 15 league games with a total of 26 goals in all competitions this season and he has been tagged the goal king by his Ukrainian club.
According to the official Twitter account of Shakhtar Donetsk, the club officials usually update “Keep calm and meet the king” each time the forward puts the ball into the back of the net. While reporting about him, Fourfourtwo claimed that he is the most important player to the Ukrainian giants this season.
The Brazilian has also shown interest in signing for the Blues as he will be joining other Brazilians there; the likes of Oscar, Ramires, Willian and other Brazilian are plying their trades for the Stamford Bridge outfits. If he should be an instant hit at the club, he will put the chance of the likes of Pedro and Hazard at the club at risk.
