Man Utd defender, Matteo Damian may have just given us the biggest hint in Man Utd’s Aubameyang chase after following the Gabon striker on Instagram and although it does not mean anything, we have seen deals go through after players follow their clubs targets. So hopefully this case might not be different for United, who knows.
Aside Damian’s sign, the Manchester evening news, reports that are interested in Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Despite this news Manchester United face stiff competition for the Gabon striker as Liverpool and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in his (Aubameyang’s) services. With Arsenal even said to be preparing a 42 million pound bid for the striker.
Aubameyang missed training on Wednesday, even though the Dortmund Staff have denied he didn’t miss training because he wanted to move, there is still a possibility that the player is trying to force a move away from the Bundesliga side.
United who have suffered goal crisis much of this season stand to benefit greatly should they sign Aubameyang as he is one of the most inform strikers this season after scoring 26 goals already at this stage of the campaign. He could well be the answer to Manchester United’s problems upfront.
Aubameyang will easily cope with the rigors of the English Premier League due to his pace and stamina. And he is versatile as he can play more than one position upfront, that is either as an out and out striker or as a side forward.
