Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has it all to do and it is left with him if his decision in the January transfer window will make or mar his team’s chances at the English Premier League title this season.
Arsenal have for a long time been after Real Madrid strikers and it looked like Benzena will have been a gunner by now with the transfer drama that surrounded him in the summer but the Gunners could not complete the deal.
Another Madrid striker that the Gunnees seem to be chasing us youngster Jese Rodriguez and it looks all set for the striker to become an Arsenal player in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old striker has been relegated to the bench under new manager Rafa Benitez and it is being widely suggested that he is frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities and wants out in the January transfer window.
Arsenal may very well be his destination as Wenger is desperate to add to the attacking options especially with the injuries to Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez.
It remains to be seen though if Wenger will not believe that the good form of Joel Campbell is enough for the Arsenal team but this could be the Gunners season to win the long awaited English Premiership title and Wenger should do all he can to ensure he does not lose out of the title.
