Arsenal is one of the top clubs in Europe who know the value of signing a player early enough to avoid other clubs poaching a superstar for a cheap price.
Arsenal has in recent times become a breeding ground for a lot of world class players today and the club has not stopped looking for new talents or keeping the ones in the club at the Emirates till they mature well enough and examples abound.
Recent reports are now showing that Arsenal have completed the signing of another world class defender as they have offered Bola Tolaji a professional contract and the 16-year-old defender has signed it keeping himself at the Emirates for another few years.
The deal was announced via the club’s official website and fans are already starting to be eager to see what the defender will be capable of adding to the first-team especially now that Arsenal are short of options on all fronts.
This kind of deal is needed at this time when injuries seem to be reducing the options for the squad and the manager seems not to be able to find replacements in the transfer market.
Bola who is of Nigerian descent has featured for the England U-16 team and has been impressive for the Arsenal youth outfit for two seasons now.
A statement from a club representative via the club official website said, “Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to the continued progression of Tolaji in the seasons ahead.”
It remains to be seen then if this will be the only signing for the club this January or if the manager will sign more players and ones that can enter the first-team straightaway.
