Arsenal Injury News Update: Coquelin, Cazorla, Sanchez And Wilshere

 Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given an update on the injury of some of his players and they are very positive.

Over the years, injuries have been the major curse to the title ambition of Arsenal but this season has been no different in terms of the number of players that picks up injury. However, there seem to be a shift on the amount they spend on the sideline, which is better.

Arsenal are currently on the zenith of the Premier League but they without some of their first team players. However, Wenger has revealed the state of Coquelin, Cazorla, Sanchez and Wilshere’s injury after giving positive news.

Francis Coquelin and Cazorla have been absent since last year with knee injuries. Cazorla has since been under the knife and the correctly surgery was successful. Of the aforementioned duo, Wenger said, per Daily Mail.

Francis Coquelin is starting to run, Santi Cazorla will be back in mid-February, and Mikel Arteta is back now so, hopefully, if we can add one and, if needed, two maximum,” he explained.

Alexis Sanchez picked up a hamstring in November and missed the whole of December but we may have him for Arsenal’s FA Cup match against Sunderland this weekend.

It’s a possibility (he could play in the FA Cup next weekend),’Wenger said. ‘Alexis needs a good test over the next four days and afterwards we will make a decision.’

Meanwhile, Jack wilshere and are expected to be back in February.
