As Arsenal and Manchester City prepare for the top of the league clash on Monday, it has been indicated that the two teams are now getting some of their injured forwards back. Some of the team star players have been out injured for some weeks now and few of them may be back for the clash.
For Manchester City, Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta are still out injured and they will definitely miss the Monday’s clash. However, their star striker, Sergio Aguero, may be fit enough to play after being out for few weeks.
City manager, Manuel Pellegrini said on Friday that Aguero is back in training and that he may be fit to play against Arsenal at the Emirates. Manchester City has missed this argentine greatly as they have struggled for goals in some of the games they played since he has been sidelined through injury.
Arsenal, on the other hand, will have Alexis Sanchez back for them, although it is not sure yet whether the Chilean will start the game or not. The return of Sanchez will definitely boost Arsenal ahead of the game.
Arsene Wenger reported that the forward is back in training and ready to fight his way back into the team, but he said that he will not be rushed back into the starting lineup. The gunners have coped well with the injury of Sanchez as they have won crucial games with at least 2 goals margin since he was out through injury.
