Barely six months after former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez joined the Bundelsiga outfit Bayern Leverkusen, he is already been rumoured to be ready to make his return to the English Premier League and his likely destination will be North-London as he is being reported to be ready to join the Emirates based club, Arsenal.
The ace striker has been performing beyond expectations since he joined Bayern Leverkusen and Arsenal who desperately need a quality striker at the moment have identified the Mexican international striker as the best option to add to the Gunners squad before the January transfer window closes.
The striker who is popularly known as Chicarito has scored 19 goals in 22 appearances for his side so far this season and this kind of returns is said to be the main reason why Wenger desperately wants him at the Emirates as the Gunners have created scores of chances this season but do not have the strikers to convert them which is something Hernandez seems to know how to do and well too with his stats.
However, it looks like Wenger might have to prepare for a serious negotiation as Leverkusen have already rejected the offer from Arsenal despite the fact that this is a huge improvement on the amount they bought the player which is reported at about £8m.
It remains to be seen then what Arsene Wenger will do and how he plans to complete this deal because this is one deal that could just ensure that the Gunners win the much awaited English Premier League title this season.
