As the rumor surrounding where the next destination of Spanish tactician, Pep Guardiola, will be, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has voiced his opinion on the subject as he expressed doubt over the possibility of Pep Guardiola making a move to the Etihad stadium next summer. The German maestro revealed that he does not believe that Guardiola will move to England despite the unsettled situation Guardiola’s availability has caused to the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp was quoted saying to BILD “If this rumor is just as accurate as the other rumors in England, then Guardiola will naturally go somewhere else”. The Liverpool boss said if Guardiola should actually make the move to England next summer after the expiration of his contract at Bayern Munich, then he may probably prove himself as being the best coach in the world. He also expressed concerns for other teams as they will struggle to cope with the success of Manchester City if they are being tutored by the Spanish manager.
Guardiola has spent the last two and half years at the German champions with him winning German bundesliga titles in his two full years at the club. Guardiola enjoyed his greatest success at FC Barcelona when he coached the team to a treble of Spanish La liga title, UEFA Champions league and Copa De Rey in his first season. Though he has not replicated the success at Bayern Munich, he has shown great attacking and possessive tactics during his spell at the club.
