According to the metro Chelsea have considered bringing former Totten ham boss Juande Ramos to replace Mourinho. Ramos time at spurs was highly unsuccessful, however he did win the Europa league with Sevilla and did well at Real Madrid.
Though reports suggest Roman Abrahamovic is unyielding in letting mourinho leave Stamford Bridge a second time, a major reason keeping the Chelsea board from sacking mourinho is the lack of realistic replacements and the fact that the Russian billionaire wants to shed his tag of lacking patience.
According to the times the Chelsea board have decided to hold a board meeting to determine the future of the Portuguese. Abrahamovic will hold meetings with his trusted advisors Bruce Buck, Marina Granovskaia, Eugene Tenenbaum and Michael Emenalo to discuss Mourinho’s future.
It is also reported that Juande Ramos is coming as a caretaker boss, pending when the blues decide who will be the permanent manager that will take them forward.
The 61 year old Spanish manager has a wealth of experience having managed clubs such as Espanyol, Malaga, Sevilla, Barcelona b team, Totten ham hotspur, CSK Moscow and Real Madrid.
He would be a good option should Chelsea sack Mourinho and could bring stability to the clubs dressing room and re-energize a once indomitable team.
