Chelsea have endured the most torturing season over the last 37-years with the club failing to replicate their impressive form of last season that saw them conquered the Premier League.
On a sad and shocking note though, the Blues lost for ninth time in the League last Monday and pundit have suggest Mourinho will look to the transfer market of January to remedy the clubs failing.
However, reports according to the Daily Star suggest Chelsea’s supremo Roman Abramovich has told Mourinho to look inwards for solution to the Club’s problem and ruled out doling out transfer funds.
In the summer, Chelsea signed a few players including Pedro Rodriguez and Papy Djilobodji but their addition has not added any value to the team. And Mourinho has been tipped to be heavily involved in the January transfer window.
The latest report now means, despite being lined with Alex Texeira, Jonathan Calleri and other world class players, Chelsea will not sign any of the aforementioned players.
From the defence, through the midfield to the attack of Chelsea have been blameworthy for the current woes bedevilling them.
Chelsea are ridden to 16th place on the Premier League log, and are 20 points and 14 points adrift of League leaders and fourth place respectively.
However, there are no reports of any probable replacement/sack of Mourinho but lack of transfer activities for them in January may further dampen their chances.
