After several goalless draws, it does not come as a surprise that Manchester United are already in market to make an audacious January signing of an attacker who could save them from their goal scoring travails. Manchester United boss, Louis Van Gaal has signaled Youri Tielemans, who is also being targeted by Chelsea and Manchester City, as one of their potential signings. The youngster is said to be worth about 30 million now.
The 18-year old Belgian has been seen as a potential playmaker who could be one of the best midfielders in the world in the future. He currently plays for Anderlecht and has scored 10 goals in 78 league games.
Antoine Griezman is another attacker the Red devils are looking at and he could be United’s first signing in January. The Frenchman has netted 35 times in 71 appearances for Atletico Madrid. Griezman is young, skillful, agile, and quick and he has lots of goals in him; he can effectively solve United’s lack of goals if he plays for the Old Trafford outfit like he is doing for his current Spanish giant. Chelsea is also targeting the 24-year old forward.
The Dutch boss has also singled out Jack Butland as a possible long-term replacement for David DeGea who could be ending to Real Madrid at the end of the season. 22-year Butland replaced Asmir Begovic as Stoke city number one shot stopper after the Bosnian moved Chelsea at the beginning of the season. Liverpool and Everton are also keeping tab on the England international that has been valued at £17 million by his Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes.s
