Manchester United paid only £6.5 million for Bastian Schweinsteiger

The former World Cup winner player was evaluated by many at £15 million, but Ed Woodward from TSV 1860 Rossenheim claimed it was a lot less than that. Some think that Manchester United paid a lot more than the valuation for some new players this summer, but this is definitely not the case with Bastian Schweinsteiger, as they got this one cheap. For example Anthony Martial is believed to be very expensive, as it arrived at £36 million. The latest move was the World Cup Winner Schweinsteiger that went straight to the Old Trafford.

Back in the days when this player was transferred from Bayern Munich, the Red Devils paid £15 million. The reports coming from the Manchester Evening News are saying that there are almost £10 million less for the Germany’s national team’s captain.

The transfer fee will add up to £6.5 million. This is an announcement from the Germany official website. Rosenheim is playing right now in the 5th tier Bayernliga Sud and that’s where Schweinsteiger played up until the year 1998. Right now they are able to scoop up to £15,000 when developing the Reds player. They have received a credit for the two whole years he spent at the club.

The payments will be made in two parts and this is happening after the deduction of the legal costs and the advisor. The club’s Finance Director Sandro Sacco said that he will receive around £13,800. The first instalment was already received in August and the Bastian’s successful career is able to help financially the first club where he played football.
