Manchester United Reach Agreement To Sign Regan Poole, Work Permit To Be Issued

Manchester United have been trying to see the players they can sign in the squad to help with their title challenge this season and to bring them out of the struggle they have found themselves.

The Red Devils have completed the transfer of their new signing Regan Poole who plays in the left-back position last summer from Newport County for a reported fee of £400,000 pounds.

The youngster was said to have joined the Red Devils since the last summer transfer window but has not been able to feature for the club because of some complications with his work permit.

The permit is more or less like an International clearance though as lifeismufc reports that, “FIFA regulations require National Associations to issue an International Transfer Certificate for any player over the age of 12 moving from one National Association to another, including across UK borders. This has prevented Regan Poole from completing his move to Man Utd.”

This situation is starting to frustrate Poole according to reports as lifeismufc also reports that “there is no stipulated time on how long the entire process of the International clearance will take and if there is any problem with the documents.”

It remains to be seen if Poole will be ready to sit it out or want a move away to a club where he can function and better his career.
