Marouane Fellaini On The VERGE Of Leaving Manchester United

Manchester United’s Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been linked with an exit from the club after Italian sides such as Serie A champions Juventus, AS Roma and AC Milan expressed their interest in the 28-year old.

The aforementioned Italian sides have however been rebuffed in their bid to take the Belgian on loan by Manchester United’s Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal with intermediaries claiming the 64-year old former Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AZ Alkmaar and Ajax Amsterdam tactician would be willing to jettison the source of his Plan B, Fellaini, if the club can recoup more than half of the £27.5m transfer fee the Old Trafford club paid their Merseyside counterparts Everton during the David Moyes era for his services.

Former Standard Liege player Marouane Fellaini has proved to be a useful contributor under Louis Van Gaal(LVG) at Manchester United as the Dutchman likes to use the 6ft 4in midfielder as a target-man when he is trying to rescue a game for his team in what has been branded by the English media as his ‘Plan B’ though he is not regarded as a key part of LVG’s plans.

There is every likelihood United would be happy to sanction the sale of Marouane Fellaini as long as they recent a decent transfer fee for him rather than loan options.
