Manchester Derby Analysis

 Manchester Derby was right up to the expectations as Manchester United beat Manchester City with a narrow margin of a goal to nil in what was a thrilling encounter between two English giants. It was a Super Sunday in premier league indeed as two teams fighting for a top 4 spot came head to head at The Emirates, Manchester.

Manchester United looked dangerous right from the very beginning and they were able to find an early goal thanks to another goal from the youngster Marcus Rashford, who has really made an impact since his arrival to senior team. United got a 1-0 lead after just after 16 minutes. With this lead United put City on the back foot. City does have some decent chances but the score remained 1-0 at half time.

Second Half was more exciting than the first half as City tried really hard to get a goal while United looked difficult of counters. David Silva with his brilliant vision and passing created some excellent chances but due to poor finishing they couldn’t find a goal. Aguero also made some runs but they all came to nothing. United defense looked pretty much organized this time around and didn’t allow City attackers any chance to snatch a goal. The match ended at 1-0 for United and they deservedly won the match.

A wonderful goal in Manchester Derby debut in no less than a dream come true for young man. With 5 goals in 8 matches he is joined fastest to score 5 for Manchester United. Way to go lad!
