According to Squawka, Two Spaniards in Manchester United Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are the latest players quoted in the press stating that they would be happy to see Louis Van Gaal leave Old Trafford. Both players are unhappy about their involvement with the club and believe a change of management will have a positive effect their career.
Ander Herrera hasn’t featured much for Manchester United under Louis Van Gaal, he is getting impatient having found himself frequently on the bench. Come to imagine that players who have been less impressive than the Spaniard have been chosen ahead of him (Herrera) and with the Euro 2016 in Paris around the corner, Herrera wants more game time in other to prove to national team coach Vincent Del Bosque that he is ready to play for Spain.
Juan Mata has the same concerns as his fellow Spaniard, but in his own case it is not about the amount of playing time but the role he is offered by Louis Van Gaal. Juan Mata has featured predominantly on the right wing under the Dutch tactician, which isn’t his favoured position as he (Mata) is a natural number 10. It appears the midfielder desires to play the No 10 role as he is accustomed to in time past and feels if he does not play there then he might be left out on the bench for the Spain in the Euros.
So it is realistic to say that, rumors that these stars are staging a revolt against the Dutch tactician, are not far from the truth considering their current predicament at the club.
