Adnan Januzaj Set To Return To Manchester United

The main aim of sending players to loan is to get them play regularly, develop/exposed on time. Where the case is contrary, clubs can consider another option.

Manchester United are unhappy with the scanty cameos of Adnan Januzaj and they will terminate the player’s loan spell in January.

Januzaj, 20, started his career with Belgian side FC Brussels he then moved to Anderlecht before he joined the Red Devils in 2011 at the age of 16. He was the most rated youngster in the academy of United before he was promoted to their first team.

However, he wasn’t playing regularly for the Red Devils and was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in the summer for  a season. But he is yet left on the bench more often than not by Tomas Tuchel. Reports have now emerged that Louis Van Gaal has asked that he be called back.

Januzaj has featured six times in the Bundesliga for the Signa Iduna Park outfit this term and all of them are from the bench. However, top sources from the club have said an announcement over his recall will soon be made.

United have struggled in attack this term. Martial, Depay and Rooney have been failing to score and Van Gaal thinks Januzaj can salvage the season for him. The 20-year-old can play from the wing or behind the striker, he will provide more depth for Van Gaal.
