Although Manchester United fans were hit with major bad news when their striker Anthony Martial was injured and it was looking like their season was already over especially with Rooney still lacking in form and no other striker capable of doing as much as Martial.
However, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has given fans some good news as he has told reporters “we will have to wait and see” and then he mentioned Wednesday which means that the injury might not be so bad after all.
Shammon Hafez tweeted that. “Anthony Martial’s foot injury is not so heavy. We have to wait and see if he can play on Wednesday,” says LvG. #MUFC

The French striker did not feature for the Red Devils on Saturday as he was still out from an injury he got during the international break in the game against England which France lost 2-0.
Since then, There have been lots of rumours concerning the striker’s fitness but Van Gaal dismissed it all after the Watford match when he confirmed that although the injury is not a serious one, it is still not a guarantee that he will be fit enough for their Champions League encounter against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.
Memphis Depay had to be used as the central striker against Watford and the team clearly struggled for goals and were just saved by an own-goal in the last minute which made them 2-1 winners against Watford.
Althoug, Memphis Depay scored a goal in the match, it is still obviously dangerous to rely only on the winger as the forward for the team in their matches.
It remains to be seen how Van Gaal will resolve all these.
