Reports making the round in the City of Manchester and Madrid claim the Red Devils have been handed a massive transfer boost in their quest to land Germany international Toni Kroos from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The impressive versatile midfielder signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 in a €30 million deal and was an instant hit for Carlo Ancelotti in his debut season. Like several players of Madrid, Kroos is now unhappy with Life at Madrid and wants out of the club.
He is unhappy with the current system employed by Rafa Benitez that has made him less creative. After 15 La Liga matches for Kroos last season, he had created 34 chances for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit with seven assist but he has fallen short of this season, creating only 22 chances including four assist.
Meanwhile, Van Gaal has struggled in the selection of his midfielders as the players have all be inconsistent. Van Gaal struggles in selection between Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin. A player like Kroos would be more assured in the middle of the pack for United.
