Bar Arsenal, the other top Premier League clubs have been tipped to change their managers and Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has been at the centre of transfer from virtually Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
The 44-year-old had revealed that he will not extend his contract with Bayern Munich at the end of the season. He has also revealed that he would fancy a move to the Premier league but refused to make known his most probable next club.
However, reports have now surfaced according to the Daily Star that the Spain born tactician will fancy a move to manchester United despite being heavily linked to Manchester City.
A source close to Guardiola said:
“Pep always found the club fascinating. He likes clubs with huge tradition and United certainly have this.
“He won’t be short of options when it comes to deciding his next move and Manchester City are an ambitious club. But United could still prove to be the more attractive proposition.”
United slumped to their fourth straight defeat in their last seven games and there are now doubt Van Gaal will continue at the club.
United were knocked out of the Champions League too despite spending over £200 million and the board are understood to be rooting for a replacement for Van Gaal.
