According to the Daily Star, Sadio Mane and Felipe Anderson are close to joining the Red Devils. Anderson just like Mane has been on United’s radar for a while now and Louis Van Gaal will be hoping to confirm these deals in coming weeks.
Let’s take a look at the two transfers and what they can add to United;
The 23 year old Senegal international is arguably one of the best and most consistent performers in the premier league, the winger who started his career with French outfit Metz, has grown to be one of the regular starters at Southampton since joining them from Salzburg in 2014.
THE SUN understands he (Mane) will cost Manchester United a whopping 35 million pounds as transfer fee and a total of 62 million pounds plus wages in a four year deal.
Mane is known for his pace, power and energy. He is versatile, as he can play either as a number 10 or either side of attack. He is credited with the fastest hat trick in the premier league, scoring the hat trick in 176 seconds in the 6-1 thumping of Aston Villa. He will add drive and energy to United’s attack.
The Lazio midfielder who has been nicknamed “O rato de Roma” began his professional career at Brazilian side Santos before moving to Lazio in 2013.
According to Football Italia, Lazio’s asking price for Anderson is £40 million, and the magazine further states that Andersons £70,000 a week salary will be doubled to £170,000 a week by United once he pens a contract with United.
Anderson has scored 14 goals in 61 appearances for the Serie A side. With a number of assists, he has been described as a quick, hard-working and as a technically gifted player he is known for his pace, excellent ball control and incredible dribbling skills. He definitely has the qualities to aid in United’s tittle surge in second half of the season.
