It officially one month to the opening of the January transfer window and clubs will be gearing already in other to make brisk business and bolster their squad.
Manchester United are not left out in the preparing to storm the January transfer market as announced the club’s vice chairman Ed woodward, who has revealed the club’s plan to sign players.
During the summer, United missed out on several world class player and the Red Devils fans will be hoping it doesn’t happen again. Pedro Rodriguez and John Stones were major target for United but they could complete any deal for them.
Speaking ahead of the January window, Woodward hinted that United will look to sign high profile players;
“We believe the impact on player profiles around the world by joining Manchester United is very powerful,” he said.
United are already linked to Neymar and Ronaldo, and Woodward believes they have the resources to sign players in the stead of the aforementioned.
During the summer, United sold Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie but failed to replace all them and their goal scoring drought has left them with no choice than to look for players that can ease their goal scoring problem in January.
United have the best defensive record in the Premier league but among the top five, they have scored the least number of goals.
