The recent reports are stating that Louis van Gaal may be prepared to sell Belgian superstar midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
No one seems to understand why Van Gaal will want to do this but the reports are saying that the manager has very recently stated that he is not ready to allow the player go out on loan to Juventus, AS Roma or AC Milan who have all presented loan bids buy that he wants the clubs to bring cash offers to sign the player permanently and he wants these offers to be at least mire than half of the £27.5m United paid for him.
It is a wonder what would prompt the Red Devils manager to want to sell off this versatile midfielder who even he has deployed as a striker in some matches. He has played all of defensive midfield to attacking midfield for Manchester United and has played from the wings apart from being a line striker in some matches.
Maybe the relationship between the player and manager has turned awry but with Morgan Schneiderllin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera all ahead of him in the pecking order, it is easy to see why the player and the manager would be disagreeing.
It is clear that he is not in the manager’s plans for the team and so maybe it is best for him to leave now that he still has something to offer clubs.
It remains to be seen though what will eventually come out of this transfer drama.
