Something unique about new managers is that they buy some and allow some players leave and so is with Liverpool’s Joe Allen who has been told to he can exit Anfield and seek regular football away from the Merseyside club.
Since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp, Allen has not made an appearance. He has been a fringe player under Brendan Rodgers and the story isn’t different under German tactician Jurgen Klopp.
Allen has been fervently battling with injuries and that has affected his game. He’s managed to play 90minutes for Chelsea only three times in his entire spell with the Reds.
However, the midfielder is being monitored by Stoke, Southampton and Leicester. It is reported that he could move to any of the aforementioned clubs when the transfer window re-opens in January, reports the Daily Star.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will lock horns with Bournemouth in the Capital One cup this weekend – with the clash against Chelsea in sight this weekend, Klopp might give the Joe Allen and other fringe players in Liverpool a nod today.
