Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy is in the form of his life in the English Premier League at the moment and has been scoring goals like a machine, already making himself the top man on goals list in the Premiership.
He scored again when Leicester City played against Crystal Palace in the League match as Leicester beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.
The goal was the seventh consecutive Premier League game in which Vardy has found the back of the net and his 10th goal in as many league games for The Foxes this season.
This form has not gone unnoticed and has even ensured him a place in the England squad as a result.
ESPN are now reporting that Liverpool are keen on the player. The report claims that The Reds would be keen to sign the player in the January transfer window as a replacement or backup for Daniel Sturridge.
The same report also claims that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the player.
Leicester fans will hope that these rumors are wrong but it looks unlikely that Liverpool’s new manager Jurgen Klopp will not be making a move for such a striker, especially with his striker predicament at Anfield.
If Liverpool make a move for the player with a good bid, it is hard to see Leicester not accepting and even if they don’t, Vardy might have to force their hands. Maybe even Arsenal who also need a striker and Chelsea may have joined the race by January if the player’s form continues.
