Liverpool has received a massive boost in their chase for PSG’s playermaker Javier Pastore following reports that the high rated Argentine who has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, is frustrated with life at the French capital club after his chances of first team football further decreased after the club signed Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.
Pastore played a total of 34 times for PSG last season, he scored five goals and assists his team mates 12 times. However, so far this season, he has seeing his playing chances drastically reduced. So far this season, he has played eight times scoring once and creating three assists.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been linked to the signing of the Argentine but it is thought it is Liverpool who has the better chances of signing him as the reds can guarantee him more playing time in his preferred position.
Should Pastore join Liverpool, it will remain to be seen what happens to Joe Allen who will be the South American’s direct competition. However, it will be interesting to see Pastore and Coutinho in Liverpool’s midfielder.
Their combination will make Liverpool fearsome in the Premier league.
