The appointment of Jurgen Klopp lauded by pundits and fans of Liverpool but sadly for him, he had a team inflicted with injury and strongly for form.
Liverpool will take a trip to the Etihad this weekend in a Premier League clash and the Kop will have Ibe and Milner back for the game after they have been certified fit for the match.
Ibe bruised his knee while on duty for the u21 side of England, while Milner missed the Liverpool’s match against Crystal Palace a fortnight ago. But both players are back and fit and will make the trip.
Sadly though, Sakho picked up a knee injury in the Reds last game and is not expected to be back this weekend but klopp as allayed fears that the injury is serious.
Talking about the player’s injury ahead of the Manchester City clash, klopp said:
“Jordon Ibe is back, James Milner back, Jordan Rossiter will start training Sunday, Jordan Henderson maybe back in training next week. He’s in a good way. Also not so bad on Mamadou Sakho.”
“Sakho is good news. It’s not that serious, not like we first thought. We don’t want to give you a time. It won’t be Christmas 2016, so that’s good.”
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their last defeat as a lose will further truncate their chances of top four qualification.
