The 27-year-old has been incredible for Leverkusen this season and has scored 19 goals in 22 league appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
When he was asked about the developments, Chicarito said, “We’ll see, you never know what happens.”“You look at my last three years in which I have played for Real Madrid, Manchester United and now Leverkusen. I’m glad and happy to be part of this great club. It is my goal now to play a very good second half [of the season].”
“[But] in this sport, it does not matter whether you sign a contract for ten years or ten times to prolong it by one year. In six months, everything can again be different.”
