Fans of the Reds have maintained that their manager has not been busy enough since the January transfer window opened but the manager may have had plans of his own and might be ready to shock the English Premier League this week.
Apart from the rumours suggesting that Liverpool could be signing Chelsea star midfielder Ramires before the transfer window closes, the added reports are saying Cristian Tello will be signed in a couple of days.
Although, initial reports were stating that Liverpool would be signing, Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, the deal somehow did not materialise and then it shifted to Alavaro Morata but reports are saying that Juventus have rejected the Reds £45m bid and Klopp has now turned his attention to Tello.
Although reports are saying Juventus are also ready to let Morata leave this January but they will like to make a swap plus cash for Paris Saint-Germaine’s striker Edinson Cavani.
Serie a outfit Fiorentina must be rueing their missed chance at the moment as they were reportedly ready to complete a loan move for Cristian Tello with a clause to be able to sign the player permanently for a reported £6m but all of these has been thrown out with Liverpool’s recent interest.
The winger cum striker is presently on loan at FC Porto but with Porto not interested in signing him permanently, it has been made open to Liverpool and Fiorentina.
The player’s agent, Josep Maria was asked about the developments and he said, “Porto, Fiorentina and Barcelona are negotiating the player’s transfer. I think that he will sign with Fiorentina before the weekend.” “Cristian wants to join Fiorentina because it would be a chance to join another great team. He comes from Barcelona, and though we respect Porto, we believe that Fiorentina would be a big step forward in his career.”
Liverpool will have to convince Barcelona they mean business if they want to sign the striker but it all remains to be seen.
