The Liverpool-Gerrard love story isn’t one that will end anytime soon, at least not till death them do them part as a reunion is once again by the corner. But despite the player’s arrival at Melwood once again, he wouldn’t be making any appearance in the Reds’ Jersey and will only play as an opponent as the club is planning to meet with his current club, LA Galaxy by Summer as part of their Pre-Season preparations and U.S tour. This will give him a more befitting send-off and goodbye after having suffered a disastrous one last season when Stoke City wallopped Liverpool 6 – 1 in his last game.
Having had a successful tour of the USA last Summer, the Anfield outfit once again looks set to repeat it, but on both the West and East coasts this time around. And the club’s Chief Executive, Ian Ayre has confirmed that the club will be looking at meeting with LA Galaxy during the tour and he is in talks with the former Liverpool skipper as regards that.
