Boss confirms: ‘World-class’ £16m Attacker Wanted By Klopp ‘Dreams’ Of Playing For Liverpool

 It is barely 11 weeks to the open of the transfer market and Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp has been linked with several players with latest being Swansea’s attacker Andrey Ayew.

It was previous reported that the Ghanaian dreams of playing for the Anfield giant and several reports including ESPN has claimed that Klopp is in the want of the player.

With the stellar performance of Ayew for Swansea, it will be difficult to allow the 26-year-old leave after one season. When quizzed about the reports surrounding the player, Ayew’s coach Gary Monk dispelled the report as not reality.

Players get linked everywhere, every year. It is not my concern if he [Ayew] is a Liverpool fan. That’s great for him; we all have boyhood dreams. There are 1,000 players I admire in the game, but is there any point in that?” He said to Wales online

Ayew had explicitly stated that he’s a Liverpool fan and he would fancy playing for the Kop.

Meanwhile, Ayew moved from Marseille to Swansea this summer on a free transfer but has turned in the performance of a £20 million marquee signing. He’s scored five goals and provided five assist in the League this season.

Ayew can fit into any team and would provide option for Klopp as a free-role player. He can player across any position in on the flanks.
