ALMOST DONE – Liverpool Set To Agree Deal For £75,000-A-Week Arsenal Target – Wenger Loses Out On Another Target

 Liverpool have emerged as front runners for the signature of Argentina and Lazio defensive midfielder, per reports.

Biglia, 29, joined the Seria A giant in the summer of 2013 from Anderlecht on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Since moving to the Seria A, Biglia has become a mainstay within the rank of Lazio with his impressive tough tackles.

His stellar performance for club has seen him draw attraction from Real Madrid, Valencia, and Arsenal but Liverpool have surprisingly appeared as front runners for his signature.

Liverpool have been heavily inflicted with injuries and Klopp is looking to bolster his team. Klopp has been a big admirer of Biglia and it is believed that the Argentine’s experience will be invaluable for Liverpool.

The Reds are looking to rake advantage of Biglia’s current contract situation. The Italian outfit are willing to renew his contract but want to offer £1.75million-per-annum but the midfielder has been holding onto £2.45 million per season.

The report stated that Liverpool have already sent scout to watch the player and they are willing to meet his current wage demands. Klopp is looking to build a team for Liverpool and he is looking to have a mix of youthful and experienced players.
