Amidst all the news making the rounds about player transfers in the presently open transfer window, one player that has remained in the news is Shaktar Donekst’s star attacking midfielder and forward Alex Teixeira.
Recent reports are now stating that both Chelsea and Liverpool are ready to fight a serious battle for the player’s services and both hope to complete the player’s transfer this January as he situation may be worse by the summer.
Both clubs need a player like this who could be very key to their plans to find their way back into the English Premier League tip four.
Hen asked about the situation, Teixeira said, “I’m trying to be transferred in this January window, and they (Shakhtar) know it.”
“We got a very good proposal for the club, and they are considering it.” “But if I do not leave now, it will be in the middle of the year.I’m ready, I’ve already spent six years in Europe with Shakhtar. I have talked with my wife, also with my daughter. This is my wish. Be transferred to a major side. And they are in full agreement with me.”
“I know that Premier League is very strong and I’m ready for it. I know I’ll grow enough.”
When asked what he felt about the interests of such top clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea, the player said, “I get anxious, knowing I have two clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea wanting to hire me. I look forward to an agreement and look forward to the future. But I did not talk to anyone.”
