Terry to Miss Crucial Tie against PSG

A big setback to Chelsea FC before going into the crucial Champions league 2nd leg, round of 16 tie against Paris Saint Germain at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday as their Captain failed to recover in time for the fixture. The 35 year Old Chelsea Captain is set to miss this Do or Die match following a hamstring injury which has forced him to stay out the mighty clash.

Terry, who has missed last few matches due to hamstring injury he suffered in the premier league match against Newcastle, will be missing another one but a bigger one this time. Chelsea will be without both of their this season’s first choice CB’s as Zouma is already out for the rest of the season after suffering a horrific knee injury against Man United few weeks back and now without their Captain, they would have to rely on the experience of Ivanovic and Cahill in defence. Terry expressed his feelings on his Instgram stating that:

“I’m gutted to be missing the PSG game. It’s so frustrating missing any game but these big Champions League nights at the Bridge are unbelievable and it hurts as a player not to be involved.

“I have thrown everything at my injury trying to get back fit but sometimes you have to let the injury settle… thankfully I’m on the mend and hope to be back soon.”

Chelsea is 2-1 down going into 2nd leg at home. They would fancy their chances of winning this tie having an away goal advantage.
